The Oregon Dunes Mail Run is one of the oldest and least-known of dog sled musher runs - maybe because it's not in the snow. The race covers 70 miles up and down steep dunes, forest paths and watery bogs from Reedsport to Florence. In bygone times, this wild corridor was the only way to travel between coastal towns.
