In Roseburg, Oregon, biologist Dwain Jackson pursues the fawns of a newly recovered species of deer, the Columbia White Tail. By radio tagging and monitoring the progress of the fawns in the wild, biologists can definitively say that the population is making a comeback. Elk in the surrounding area, however, are competing with the struggling species of deer. Elk can be captured and temporarily relocated, but the solution is hardly a permanent one.
