At the expense of much time and sleep, biologists scour the Kalamath marshes looking for Yellow Rails, a bird which is so elusive and so few in number that humans really know very little about them. Searching through the thick marsh grasses, biologists hope to not only spot Yellow Rails, but also catch them in order to measure and tag the birds for further research.
