60 years ago, in the Pueblo Mountains, near the Oregon/Nevada border town of Denio, a B-24 crashed killing 11 U.S. Army airmen. Scattered wreckage over an area dubbed "Propeller Meadows" remains as a memorial to the 11 lives lost that night. Hitting the mountain at full speed, during clear weather, with no distress call from the pilot, the unexplainable plane crash remains a mystery to this day.
