Bill Friday comes from a long line of lookouts in Central Oregon. Living in a 15x15 foot shelter on the top of Green mountain in the middle of the desert, Bill looks out for fires in the surrounding forest. Bill has been doing his job for over 40 years, reporting 2,500 fires since 1965, including 3 "storms of the century"! Passionate about looking out for the forest he finds solitude in, could Bill be protecting it too well?
