State biologists conduct a survey to see if their dramatic and expensive attack on the invasive tui chubb has been successful. Introduced to the lake in the 1980's, this non-native bait fish had taken over the lake and ruined the habitat for the native trout. In a drastic effort to fight back, officials use a poison called rotenone to wipe out fish life to allow the lake to start over from scratch.
