The Enrollees

Total Men Enrolled: 3,463,766

Average Enrollee was 18 - 19 years old, 147 pounds, 5'8 1/4" tall.
Within the first 3 months he gained 11.5 pounds.

First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt objected to the exclusion of women and pushed for a similar all-female program. The “She-She-She” employed 8,500 women until it was closed in 1937.
