Oregon Experience: Searching for York

Making Searching for York

During the making of Searching for York, we were fortunate to engage the help of historical interpreters, people who portray figures from our past, in period dress and in character. Many of these interpreters had played the members of the Corps of Discovery more than once - along the expedition route during the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial and in National Park Service programs.  They were a great bunch - focused, cooperative, good-natured.  All of them exhibited a tremendous commitment to making history come alive in our film.
