Oregon Experience: Bull Run

Dam Number One

Bull Run's Dam Number One was completed in 1929.  The chief engineer on the project was a man named D.C. Henny.  Henny later became a consulting engineer for the construction of the Boulder Dam  (1936) on the Colorado River.  Later renamed Hoover Dam, his later project bears a certain resemblance to Dam One.
