August 5, 2005 — Oregon Legislature Sine Die
The state capitol building broils under the hot August sun, as lawmakers inside prepare to wrap-up the 2005 Oregon Legislature. Though it's not the longest (that record goes to the 2003 session) or most memorable session, there are still plenty of legislative issues to analyze.
In order to do this, we've put together a panel of legislative experts to review the session. From accomplishments to disappointments, we'll tap into the insights of a legislative reporter, a newspaper editor, and a political analyst to cover all the angles of this year's state legislature.
Host: Christy George, OPB News
Guest: Richard Aguirre, senior editor of the Salem Statesman-Journal; Bill Lunch, OPB's political analyst; and Colin Fogarty, OPB's legislative reporter.
