With the on-going wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Veteran’s Day takes on a much more poignant meaning for a thousands of soldiers returning from combat zones.

This week, we explore the injuries—both physical and psychological—faced by these soldiers. We also examine advances in trauma treatment of wounded soldiers, and explore some of the recent changes in treating of post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).
