Once there’s no more oil to be drilled or extracted from the earth, there will be many changes in the way we live. For example, the way we grow food, move goods from one place to another, and even how we bus children to schools will need to change.

Mix in climate change with the depletion of oil and some folks argue that life in North America will be dramatically different.

Our guest this week calls these forced changes “The Long Emergency” and has written a book about how he believes the end of oil will play out in the real world.

Host: Christy George

Guests: James Howard Kunstler, author of “The Long Emergency”
