Oregon Territory
September 29, 2006 — Children's Issues in Oregon
The major candidates to be Oregon's next governor will be at OPB this week. The candidates will answer questions about education, health, and state spending on programs for children and families.
Following the debate, we'll sit down with the executive directors of three children's advocacy groups to hear their reactions to what the candidates had to say.
This reaction will be our topic for Oregon Territory this week. And we'll also explore what topics these children's advocacy groups would like to see addressed in Oregon.
Host: Christy George
Guests: Swati Adarkar, executive director, Children's Institute of Oregon; Jonah Edelman, executive director, Oregon Stand for Children; and Robin Christian, executive director, Children First for Oregon.
