This episode originally aired on July 21, 2006

We explore rocky tidepools off Yachats, Oregon and talk about research that shows recent changes in the ocean which scientists believe are related to climate change.

The husband-wife marine ecology team of Jane Lubchenco and Bruce Menge share a professorship at Oregon State University and co-lead the Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO). PISCO is a collaboration between OSU and three California colleges to study the near-shore environment, using consistent methods up and down the West coast.

Our guide to Oregon's tidepools is professor Jane Lubchenco, who also co-chaired Governor Kulongoski's Advisory Group on Global Warming.

Host: Christy George

Guest: Jane Lubchenco.
