Laura Wall Mansfield, Producer/Writer

Portland-born Laura Wall Mansfield graduated from Lincoln High School before attending Boston University, where she earned degrees in both Broadcast Journalism and History. Ms. Mansfield worked in Australia at 2SER and in the Boston area at both NECN and WCVB Channel 5 before becoming a documentary producer.

Over the past five years Ms. Mansfield has produced, co-produced, edited or written numerous documentaries including five shows for a twenty-six part series entitled MediaWaves, and a half-hour documentary for the "I Have a Dream Foundation" of Portland. She has also completed a half-hour documentary entitled Get The Picture which was awarded the "Best Documentary of 30 minutes or more" by the Colorado Broadcasters Association.

Two years ago Ms. Mansfield started her own company, Off The Wall Productions. Since its inception, Off The Wall Productions has produced PBS documentaries and completed a number of customized family histories and marketing videos.
