Growing up in Hood River, Tim Beal was not the type of kid to beg his parents: Please, Mom & Dad, Please, please, please, please can we stop at the Stonehenge War Memorial?
But somewhere along the line, Tim Beal became the kind of person who is deeply interested in pausing to take in the unusual, the off-beat and the spiritual. He's now a scholar of religious studies.
