Judge Expected to Limit Hydropower Production
Friday, U.S. District Judge James Redden holds a hearing in Portland to decide how the Columbia River system will be managed this summer.
Last month the judge threw out the federal management plan. He said the plan violated the Endangered Species Law because it was inadequate to protect salmon.
Thursday, the judge indicated he would likely rule in favor of salmon advocates again.
