U-P Pilots: A Season Like No Other
Posted by April Baer at November 23, 2005 06:12 AM
The University of Portland women's soccer team is undefeated, and getting ready for a highly-anticipated playoff game Friday against Notre Dame. After several successful seasons, the Pilots are riding a wave of unprecedented interest. Midfielder Lindsay Huie talked with OPB Morning Host April Baer about this week's game, and a memorable season.
Huie, who's a senior this year, is a veteran of the 2002 Pilots team that brought home a national championship, under legendary coach Clive Charles, who died of cancer toward the end of a triumphant season. She says the team is excited but focused about Friday's game.

It was interesting how you used a wide range of brilliant words. I was interested in how you spoke of soccer. I hope you become successful with your new job. Have a excellent conclusion to your school year because you are so smart and I admire you.
