Back from Iraq
Posted by April Baer at December 7, 2005 07:25 AM
Springfield native Matt Chandler works with Christian Peacemaker Teams, a group works in Iraq to improve conditions for those detained by US and Coalition forces. The danger and intensity of the work has been underlined this week by the abduction of four westerners--two of whom Chandler knew and worked with.
He spoke with OPB Morning Host April Baer about his work, and seeing news footage of his friends in captivity.

Matt's interview was important for me to hear. He is intelligent and articulate about the work of Christian Peacemaker Teams and the abduction of his friends in the midst of a horrible crisis. Thank you for airing and posting online this interview.
