"Department store chain Mervyns said on Monday it would close 20 more underperforming stores, mostly in Oregon and Washington, to concentrate on more profitable markets in the U.S. West and Southwest."

Not that many people around here got to see it, but NASA's Stardust space capsule did zoom over Oregon this weekend, parachuted gently to the floor of Utah's high desert yesterday. Fun stuff.
