Jennie Baker, Alicia J. Rose, Benjamin Brink and Joni Kabana / SEED: Words + Music

Last month in Portland, we ran across something we wanted to share with you.

Courtenay Hameister, the head writer and co-producer of Live Wire Radio, asked some of Oregon's most compelling writers and artists to join her in an experiment: pair up with another artists, pick something your partner has written, then write something in response. Some of the artists knew each other, some were total strangers.

The resulting stage show, SEED: Words + Music, left the audience spellbound.

03:06 - 06:45 Filmmaker Arthur Bradford and Lost Lander's Matt Sheehy on cold feet & frozen ambitions.
16:00 - 24:00 Swan Sovereign and Courtenay Hameister work up the best comeback for the worst New Year's Eve.
28:00 - 48:40 Singer/songwriter Laura Gibson and New York Times best-selling writer Cheryl Strayed on tough transitions and the challenges of intimacy.

Keep your eye on this show - Courtenay tells us it's going to be a regular series.
