Portland's Japanese Garden

Portland's Japanese Garden is considered one of the best public Japanese gardens outside of Japan. It is described by volunteer Polly Lauser as "the slowest form of performance art". Aside from the garden itself they feature art exhibitions organized by curator Diane Durston. We spoke to Diane about their approach to curating shows for the garden and we discuss the garden's proposed expansion with State of Wonder guest curator Jeff Jahn.
