José directs the theater, and Dañel runs the company’s bilingual touring company, Teatro Milagro. When they started they were just looking for a venue to do all kinds of modern theater, but the company has evolved into Oregon’s only Latino theater organization — and one of just a few in the Northwest.

José and Dañel sat down with April to talk about their start-up years, sharing decisions at work, and keeping a balance at home.
