Third Angle Brings New Sounds To The Porch

For the last few years, Third Angle Ensemble has been making a new summer tradition of outdoor, informal concerts previewing next season's programs.

Porch Music takes place across yards and gardens in the leafy serenity of Portland's Irvington neighborhood. The works aren't necessarily exactly what you'll hear next season. Some are thematic nods to works to be played.

We caught up with clarinetist Lou De Martino, flautist Sarah Tiedemann, and percussionist Brian Gardiner, as they played within a half-mile's walk of each other. Take a listen, and if you'd like to learn more, here's the place to find out about Third Angle's upcoming season.
