Chelsea Cain's Tips On Surviving Summer Thrillers

OPB | July 1, 2014 3:54 p.m. | Updated: July 4, 2014 2:58 p.m.

Summer hit Oregon hard this week. Blue skies, temps nearing 100 degrees, and — of course — the bacchanalia of barbequing and gun powder that is the Fourth of July.

And with summer weather comes summer reading. On beaches and in airports around the country, people are diving into detective novels, spy thrillers, and horror stories. Portland’s own Chelsea Cain has some tips for those hoping to survive. Her new series begins with, One Kick, coming out in August. Tune in for Chelsea’s survival guide this Saturday.
