State of Wonder is back for another week of Oregon arts awesome!

This week the Tony Award nominations are in and All the Way — a play that was originally commissioned by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival — is nominated for best play and best actor. It’s about President Lyndon Johnson and was directed by Bill Rauch who is OSF’s artistic director. Rauch will tell us about the production of Pirates of Penzance he’s directing at Portland Opera this month. It’s relatively new territory, but says he’s enjoying crossing over into opera.
