Portland’s annual Time-Based Art Festival is showcasing a production this week called All the Sex I’ve Ever Had, a product of Mammalian Diving Reflex, an arts group based out of Toronto. “All the Sex I’ve Ever Had” is a performance that looks at the sexual adventures, wisdom, and lives of five older Portlanders.

Through frank conversation and exploration of the participants’ lives, “All the Sex I’ve Ever Had” strives to create a collaborative and honest conversation between the performers and the audience — a conversation not likely to be had around most dinner tables.

Darren O’Donnell, the artistic and research director of Mammalian Diving Reflex, along with David Rolin and Jackie Anderson, two participants in the performance, will tell us about the idea behind and the development of this performance art piece.
