The elder abuse rate in Oregon rose in 2014. The Oregon Department of Human Services says the increase is in part due to an aging population, and more people reporting existing abuse. We’ll find out more about that, and talk with a San Diego prosecutor speaking in Hillsboro this week, and learn more about the elder abuse prosecution program, one of the only one of its kind in the country.
