Boeing Gets Tax Breaks From Washington Lawmakers

Washington lawmakers convened a special session last Thursday focused entirely on Boeing. Governor Jay Inslee lobbied hard for extending tax breaks to Boeing to ensure the aerospace company continues to build its 777X jets in the state. While there was turbulence during the three day session, lawmakers ultimately passed the tax breaks and adjourned.

Olympia-based OPB reporter, Austin Jenkins, joins us to talk about the the history of Boeing in Washington and what the tax breaks will mean moving forward.
