Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was held captive by the Taliban for five years after he disappeared from his Army post in Afghanistan, is being charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. Misbehavior before the enemy carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Bergdahl is originally from the small town of Hailey, Idaho. The community there rallied around his cause when he was in captivity. He was released in May 2014 in exchange for five Taliban prisoners.

We talk with reporter Jessica Robinson, who has been covering this story since 2011.
