OPB is excited to welcome the folks from the BBC Newshour to Portland this week. They will be broadcasting their show live from our studios Wednesday afternoon, but in the morning Newshour host Claire Bolderson will be on Think Out Loud.

She’ll share her observations from her travels around Oregon and her exploration of the relationship between the Pacific Northwest and Asia, with a focus on China. She visited California’s Port of Long Beach two years ago, in the depths of the recession, and can contrast what she saw there with her recent trip this week to the Port of Portland.

Before becoming a Newshour host, Bolderson was a correspondent in Southeast Asia and in Washington, D.C., and an Asia editor for BBC World Service.

What would you like to ask Claire Bolderson?
