County Votes For Big Intel Tax Break Package

Chip manufacturer Intel is the state’s largest private employer. That’s a big reason that Washington County commissioners want to make sure the company remains committed to staying in the region. On Tuesday night, the commission held a public hearing, then voted unanimously to pass a $100 billion package of tax incentives for Intel.

We’ll talk to Conrad Wilson about what led up to the vote and what it could mean to the region.
