You’ve been hearing about it for years. You’ve probably seen ads for it. Now, the much-anticipated health insurance exchange, known as Cover Oregon, goes online October 1. Cover Oregon is just one of the online health insurance exchanges that will be opening all over the country Tuesday as part of the rollout of the federal Affordable Care Act. These online marketplaces are geared towards people without insurance or those who have insurance that’s too pricey.

In Oregon, the initial experience for people who want to use the exchange to shop for coverage may be a bit problematic as Cover Oregon is expecting some technical hiccups.

Are you planning to use Cover Oregon? What are you hoping for? What are you worried about?
