Today we spend an hour listening to the future. We’re listening back to some of the youngest guests to come on our show in the last year, who give us hope for what’s coming in the next one.

  • Faisa Ali, to whom we spoke at Woodburn High School.
  • Mitchell Lenneville represented Oregon at the national Poetry Out Loud competition.
  • Tyler White helped us organize a whole group of young people to talk about the American Dream.
  • Finn Hawley-Blue and Dylan Palmer, who took their film about race to the White House.
  • Anushka Naiknaware won the LEGO Education Builder Award in the 2016 Google Science Fair for her smart bandage.
  • Vineet Edupuganti won the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology for his invention of a biodegradable battery.
  • Brittany Hope spent years in Oregon’s Foster Care system.
