Lawmakers are in Salem this week gearing up for the short February session and taking care of a few other things — like grilling Cover Oregon’s executive director Rocky King. Many legislators want to know why the once lauded health insurance exchange hasn’t been able to enroll anyone through its website.

This interim legislative meet-up is known as Legislative Days. Other agenda items include state senate confirmation hearings on Governor Kitzhaber’s appointments to higher education boards and initial committee hearings on the possibility of a legislative referral to legalize marijuana in Oregon.
