  • While everyone else was barbecuing for the holiday, Oregon’s Legislature passed quite a few bills. OPB’s Senior Political Reporter Jeff Mapes gives us an update.
  • The Medford Police Department recently hosted “Cafe con Pan,” a Spanish version of a police outreach known as “Coffee with a Cop.” The department’s cultural liaison, Lilia Caballero, and a bilingual officer talk about the effect bilingual officers have on Latino communities.
  • Portland artist David Slader chose to share his exhibit at a gallery in downtown Portland with several artists who created their art behind bars. We talk to Slader, and to one of the artists from prison.
