On Sunday six people were killed and three others critically injured in a deadly shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Today information is being released about the shooter, who was killed at the scene, including his reported ties to white supremacist groups. Many Sikhs faced violence and discrimination after the September 11th attacks, because people falsely linked them to Islam. This shooting has left many Sikhs rattled.

There are a handful of Sikh temples — known as Gurdwaras — in Oregon and Washington. Do you belong to one? Is there a Sikh community where you live? What’s your reaction to the shooting in Wisconsin?
