Marijuana Legalization Measure

OPB | Sept. 24, 2012 12:06 p.m. | Updated: Sept. 11, 2013 12:03 a.m.

Oregon is one of three states voting on marijuana legalization this November. Voters in Colorado and Washington are also weighing the pros and cons of taxing and regulating marijuana consumption for adults. In Oregon, Ballot Measure 80 (pdf)would allow unlicensed personal cultivation of marijuana as well as the sale of pot through state-licensed stores.

Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury can be counted among the measure’s vocal supporters. It’s opposed by many in the law enforcement community.

Do you know how you’ll vote on Measure 80? What questions do you have about what the measure would do?
