Moda On Affordable Care Act | Portland's Snowpocalypse Postmortem | Ice Study

A winter storm blindsided Oregon with heavy snow on Tuesday. The overnight snowfall left some of the state's most populous cities at a frozen standstill.

  • The incoming administration has promised to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. We talk to Robert Gootee, CEO of local health insurer Moda, about what they think that might mean.
  • We take a look at how recent intense winter weather affected Oregon, with a series of calls around the state.
  • Oregon State University’s Peter Clark joins the show to talk about the significance of the study published in “Nature” recently that helps strengthen climate change models by establishing how Antarctic ice affects the global climate.
