The jury returned a guilty verdict in the case of Mohamed Mohamud Thursday afternoon. Mohamud was arrested in 2010 after trying to detonate a bomb at Portland’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony. He was 19 years old at the time. The bomb was a fake, supplied to him by undercover FBI agents.

The trial unfolded over three weeks, with the defense taking only two days to present their case.
