NBA Draft

OPB | May 29, 2012 9:45 a.m. | Updated: Sept. 10, 2013 11:34 p.m.

The lottery for the 2012 NBA draft is May 30th. Depending on the results of a complex lottery process, the Portland Trail Blazers’ prospects entering the next season could change dramatically. There’s plenty of speculation about what the Blazers will opt for. A shooting guard? A point guard or a center? (Or maybe both?)

The Blazers’ relatively good record means the team will have just a three percent chance at a top-three pick. Watchers expect the team to pick 11th.

Still, that puts them in their best position since 2007, when they infamously selected injury-plagued Greg Oden over Kevin Durant.

What are you watching in the NBA draft? What rookie do you want to see in a Blazers uniform next season? What would you do if you were an (interm!) GM?
