Obama Changes Deportation Policy

OPB | June 15, 2012 9:06 a.m. | Updated: Sept. 10, 2013 11:38 p.m.

The Obama Administration announced this morning it will change its deportation policy. Effective immediately, immigrants under the age of 30 who have been in the country since before the age of sixteen will be able to defer deportation for two years, with repeated extensions. Applicants must also have lived in the country for five years, graduated high school, and have no criminal record.

Are you an undocumented youth? What does this policy mean for you? Do you support the change in policy?
