Obama in Portland for Fundraiser

OPB | July 24, 2012 9:06 a.m. | Updated: Sept. 10, 2013 11:48 p.m.

President Obama will be stopping by Portland on Tuesday afternoon as part of a three day fundraising tour. He’ll first speak to a small crowd of donors who paid $30,000 for their spots. Then he’ll talk to a larger group of 950 supporters who paid at least $500.

We’ll talk to political analyst Jim Moore about how much money Obama and Republican rival Mitt Romney have raised and the effect it’s expected to have in the presidential election.

Are you planning on attending the event? Which way are you leaning in the presidential election? Have you contributed to a campaign? Why or why not?
