  • A long-standing trade dispute between the U.S. and Canada over softwood lumber is heating up again. Naomi Christensen from the nonpartisan Canada West Foundation joins us to provide some context.
  • Ashland author Victor Lodato joins us to talk about his friendship with his elderly neighbor, Austin, which he wrote about in The New York Times recently. His novel, “Edgar and Lucy,” comes out this week.
  • Immigration lawyer Stephen Manning joins us to discuss the implications of the Daniel Ramirez Medina case. Ramirez Medina is suing the federal government after being arrested by immigration agents in Seattle last month, despite being protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
