As Oregon’s short legislative session approaches the halfway mark, we’ll sit down with Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler. He’s pushing hard for a bill that he says would save the state 2.7 billion over the next 20 years. The Investment Modernization Act would reduce investment fees and change the way the state invests for the Public Employees Retirement System.
Wheeler was recently honored as “Elected Official of the Year” by a national organization of retirement systems. We’ll ask him about his recent testimony on the Oregon-based plan to revive the CRC and the measure on the November ballot that would create a fund to significantly expand the Oregon Opportunity Grant for eligible college students.
What would you like to ask Ted Wheeler?
