Reinstating Frashour

OPB | April 2, 2012 9:06 a.m. | Updated: Sept. 10, 2013 11:24 p.m.

A state arbitrator has ruled to reinstate Portland Police Officer Ronald Frashour, who fatally shot Aaron Campbell two years ago. The ruling sides with the Portland police union, which pushed for Frashour’s reinstatement to his former job and said the officer was entitled to the wages he lost during the time of his absence.

Officer Frashour was fired after fatally shooting Aaron Campbell, an unarmed 25-year-old African-American man outside a Northeast Portland apartment in January 2010.
