Clashes between police and protesters have grown increasingly violent in Ferguson, Missouri. following the shooting of unarmed, African-American teenager Michael Brown by a white police officer, Darren Wilson. On Monday, Missouri governor Jay Nixon called in the National Guard to help “in restoring peace and order” to Ferguson. The order comes after the governor imposed a curfew, which has not curbed protests in the St. Louis suburb.

Portland-based Associated Press reporter Nigel Duara has been in Ferguson since Friday. He fills us in as events continue to unfold.
