A year ago Wednesday, a gunman opened fire inside the Clackamas Town Center mall, killing two people and injuring another before shooting himself.

Cynthia Yuille, 54, and Steve Forsythe, 45, were gunned down by 22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts when he fired randomly inside the mall. Fifteen-year-old Kristina Shevchenko was badly injured and spent a week in the hospital following the shooting.

This tragedy came just three days before the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut that left 26 people dead, 20 of them children.

What do you remember from that week? What stands out to you a year later?
