Democratic incumbent Kate Brown and Republican Knute Buehler are vying for the office of Secretary of State. Brown says she has a strong track record of keeping government accountable and that her challenger lacks experience in elective office. 

Knute Buehler says Brown has shown a lackluster performance on the job, and he wants a chance to show how he could use the office to support small businesses
