  • We get the latest business news from Portland Business Journal editor Suzanne Stevens, including a look at Portland Airport’s proposal to spend $1 billion on an upgrade.
  • The Multnomah County District Attorney released grand jury transcripts Monday related to the death of an African-American teen shot by a Portland Police officer in February. OPB reporter Amelia Templeton tells us more about it.
  • Some gun owners want to have their concealed carry permits recognized across state lines. What would that mean for Oregon? We talk with Tim Schmidt, president and founder of the United States Concealed Carry Association, and Oregon state Sen. Floyd Prozanski (D-Douglas County).
  • Dennis Bourdette, chair of OHSU’s Department of Neurology, teamed up with an Oregon State professor to study the drug acthar. It’s used to treat infant seizures, but is also occasionally prescribed for multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory diseases. They found that the drug is being prescribed to a small number of patients by less than 1 percent of physicians in the U.S., but it’s costing Medicare half a billion dollars.
